Lake Hills was first created in September of 1971.  This subdivision consists of approximately 49 homesites - 17 of which are waterfront homesites. Only 9 waterfront lots remain unimproved.

Lake Hills is located on the south side of the lake on the main channel, and is accessed off of N.C. Highway 268 - west of Wilkesboro.
